Just got yr lovely tweet about the book. Sadly have not got US deal - too British? But Amazon.co.uk might work. Although shipping costs probably more than price of book itself. Rather longing for you to read it so can find out what you think.
Hope the weather in LA is balmy. Suspicion of spring here for a moment, but today was back to FIVE degrees and skies the colour of dishcloths. Most demoralising. x
Meant to say - incredibly sorry that neither Sarah nor I have a recipe for hot cross buns. My feeling is that the particular texture that makes them so delicious might be quite hard to achieve at home. So hope that you manage to track them down in sunny California.
If worst comes to worst, I could always send you some. We could do a food swap. There must be something from LA that I cannot get here. I do remember the gorgeous heritage tomatoes of San Francisco with particular longing, but I don't think they would go very well through the post.

Maybe its the massive over-produced taste that I will be missing. I will have a go and let you know the outcome. xC
